Natural Harmonics 

Normal Harmonics can be produced by holding your index finger in your fret-hand above at the 5th, 7th or 12th fret. Just place your hand on the chain above the fret, dont media to hard or you'll mute the note, pick the note and then p... 

A harmonic is really a tone thats made by your guitar by pressing the string above a worry on an open vibrating string. There are 2 forms of harmonics Natural and Artificial or I prefer to call them crunch harmonics. 

Normal Harmonics 

Natural Harmonics could be made by holding your index finger on your own fret-hand above at the 5th, 7th or 12th fret. Just place your finger on the chain above the worry, dont press to hard or you will mute the note, shape the note and then draw your finger down. Try it on the A string.

When playing harmonics timing is critical. you hear a harmonic, modest sound or perhaps a note the size of time you keep your hand on the string can determine. Natural harmonics occur in a variety of places across the fretboard. The most common ones are on the 7th, 5th, and 12th fret. The harmonics in those roles will ring for many 6 strings on the same fret. Decide to try playing them in most 3 positions. Place your finger across all 6 strings and play from the Lower Elizabeth to the high E lifting your finger as your pick strikes each individual chain. Touch Harmonics 

Pinch harmonics are done with the pick hand hand. I found this method extremely tough to master. So there's almost no pick subjected between your thumb and your index finger the best method is to choke down on your pick. Eventually youll understand the pick has to be mobile in your hand, and you'll move it into different position depending on how you play. Now whenever you pluck a string along with your pick the key is always to reach the pick first and your thumb is slightly twisted by then so that it touches the string just after striking the string. 

Why play a touch harmonic..well since they are very great when playing solos. You are able to mix sequence bends with touch harmonics and vibrato to obtain entirely great sounding squeals. They even sound good whenever you do them unintentionally. The secret is to spend some of your practice time everyday to just playing cool notes and try putting a touch harmonic with some demonic vibrato.
